Franklin’s personality has really come through in the last few weeks, he is adventurous and cheeky. He is very clever and knows basic commands such as sit, and he is also doing well with toilet training.
Franklin was born into a litter of 13 — 2 brothers and 10 sisters! When Franklin and his siblings arrived in our care at 5 weeks old, they were scared, timid and very unsure of people. We set about getting their health and wellbeing up to date, with some high quality puppy appropriate food, worming, vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. When they were old enough to start socialisation at Collie and Co. we slowly introduced them to the socialisation protocol, recalling how nervous they were that first day, it was clear these guys had probably not had a lot of human contact in their short lives. Within one day of socialising at the cafe, their outlook changed completely. Instead of trembling and hiding at new sounds, sights, people, they would run around confidently, playing and exploring! And when they tired, they would jump into the first lap they could find for cuddles!
